Policies
Plain-language policies for this website. Equal Housing Opportunity.
Equal Housing Opportunity. This practice supports both the letter and the spirit of the federal Fair Housing Act and all applicable state and local fair housing laws.
We do not discriminate, and will not participate in discrimination, on the basis of race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, familial status, national origin, or any other class protected by law, in the sale, rental, financing, or advertising of housing.
What that means for you. Every client receives the same service, the same access to available properties, and the same effort in negotiation. Neighborhoods are described using objective, verifiable facts — commute, amenities, transit, published school data — never by the identity or composition of the people who live there. Questions about whether a community suits you are answered with data and with sources you can check yourself.
Reasonable accommodations. Requests for accommodations or modifications relating to a disability are welcome at any point in the process.
If you believe you have experienced housing discrimination, you may raise it with this practice or our brokerage, or file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development at hud.gov or 1-800-669-9777.
